Mad March Hare 2018The Mad March Hare event is a 5 or 10k walk or run raising funds for Breast Cancer Now. The 2018 event will take place on Sunday 25th March based at Lydiard Academy, W. Swindon. Everyone is welcome, whatever their ability, join in, have fun and take charge of their own health.
Museum of ComputingThe Museum of Computing exists to provide a record of all aspects of the history of computing. We are family-friendly, and welcome all ages to enjoy many hands-on exhibits and experience computers as they were in the past. We also run educational tours and talks for schools and hold special events.
Old Town FestivalThe Old Town Festival is an annual event that is organised for the community by the community and has links to the Old Town Business Association, Christ Church and many of the clubs, societies and schools in Old Town. The organisation is a community not-for-profit and is run entirely by volunteers.
SMASH Youth ProjectSMASH is a youth mentoring charity that serves Swindon. We believe that it only takes one person to change a life. We do this through volunteer youth mentoring and group work.
STEAM Museum of the Great Western RailwaySTEAM - Museum of the Great Western Railway is housed in a beautifully restored Grade II railway building in the heart of the former Swindon railway works.
Street repsStreet reps operate in Council house area's. We currently have reps in Penhill, The Railway village, West Swindon and Chiseldon. Street reps don't need to be council tenants but simply live in the area. Street Reps do what they can, when they can and dip in or out of volunteering when it suits them.
Supporting Wellbeing and Developing Stability - SWADSSWADS is a wellbeing center with creative arts and talking therapies available for people who live in Swindon and the surrounding area.
